Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Whew, long time no update. I've been dealing with lots of personal family-related issues these last couple of months involving illness and death, thus no new dolls or anything. It may be another few weeks yet before I have the chance to. I just wanted to make sure people know I'm still alive and I haven't fallen off the face of the planet! ^-^ I promise I won't disapear permanently, just need time to deal with things. For those who may be curious, the move went well and I've finally finished unpacking everything a few days ago, haha. No more living out of cardboard boxes, can I get a hurrah?! Lol

Going on an official 2-3 week hiatus o.O I'm moving for the 11th time in my 19 years of life and so I must spend my time packing and getting things figured out. Pleh. I'll still be online for as long as I can, just won't be updating for awhile. Wish me luck!

Extending the contest deadline, since I've recieved only one lonely entry -_- Deadline now October 31st! :D Sorry for lack of dolling lately, I'm in the process of getting a job and I've been getting back into writing :D Will make a new one soon... ish.

Because he's beautiful and I love him, here is another Kurt Wagner doll. I like it a lot better than my first attempt for obvious reasons... I mean come on, he's shirtless! *drool* Base by myself. Next up is Remy LeBeau (Gambit) or Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) and then after that probably Logan/Wolverine or Scott/Cyclops or maybe Psylocke. Choices choices...

A new X-men doll. This time of Kurt Wagner, the future father of my children my favorite X-man. I want to do another X-men: Evolution version of him as well, but that'll have to wait until after I doll a couple of other characters. Guys are hard to doll, especially physically mutated guys so I hope it doesn't look too bad. o.O (Though I must admit it's hard to make someone as totally gorgeous as Nightcrawler look bad, hehe n_n) My own base (not released yet.)

A new doll ^-^ It's Rogue, my third favorite character from X-men. I am somewhat of an X-men fanatic and have come up with the crazy idea of dolling a ton of the characters. She was done mostly from scratch, though I did steal parts of the base from my other bases. I'm planning to make a new base for each character I doll and will release them as a set eventually.

Did some reorganizing in the Dolls section ^-^ The Dark and Fantasy dolls have been combined into one section, and I've separated the mermaids onto their own page. Contests will be voting for a few more hours and then Awards will be given out and two new contests will start. One for sure will be an X-men contest XD *is obsessed with X-men and is in the process of dolling several of the characters* The other contest.. I'm not sure yet. Any ideas? :)

All contests are now closed. I will have any entries recieved up by the end of today and voting will begin n_n Also, dolling is being put on hold for a few more days because my mother is home for the week and then gets shipped off to New York for who knows how long. Since I haven't seen her in 3+ months, I want to spend this week hanging out with her as opposed to dolling =^-^= But I've got lots of ideas so there will be new dolls eventually, as well as a few minor changes to the site.

4 new contest entries :D A reminder that there are only 5 days left for each contest. I decided on a whim the other day that I want to learn a second language. The random idea of learning a language has occured to me before a long time ago and I ended up studying spanish for a year but then sort of gave up lol. Now I've decided to learn German and will be doing it on my own time. Because goodness knows I need another hobby XD Anywho, expect new dolls within the week.

New doll! ^-^ One that I actually like! Woot! It's a remake of Khalida, which is in Dark section if you wanted to compare. Definitely one of the better ones I've done. Or maybe I'm just crazy and it's hideous XD Lol! Base is by Angelic Sakuras.

Sorry about the lack of updates o.O Because of personal things that have come up, I haven't had the time to doll as much as I want to. (You know what I'm talking about it you know me on Deviantart) Despite this, I managed to get one doll finished. Her name is Jennifer and she's on DHFs base. I like her and don't like her at the same time, hahaha. I feel that way about most of my artwork so it's nothing new =P The hair was originally purple but I changed it to dark brown last minute. In other news, I'm extending the contest deadlines to end on the 30th, instead of the 25th.

Finally I've put up all the contest entries I've recieved lol. I'm sorry it took so long. If you've sent your entry in but it's not shown, let me know. It most likely never went through or I may have missed it. ^-^ I have so many WIPs in my doll folder now that I'm beginning to think I have commitment issues, lol! I just need to start one and finish it.

Holy marshmellow salamanders, batman! I was checking my website stats after not seeing them for awhile completely expecting my normal 20-30 visitors a day, only to find that a whopping 169 people visited my site on Sunday! That has got to be a record! Oh and there were 67 the day before! Needless to say, I'm very surprised, lol! But anyway, I apologize for the lack of updates lately, I'm sick again. Grrr. This is the third time this year that I've been ill. As soon as I'm back on my feet I'll have new dolls made and any contest entries I've recieved up.

One new doll named Abril! ^-^ She is on DHFs base. The dress was a headache, it took much longer than it should have. I was trying out a new shading technique and got really frustrated halfway through and kept switching between different shading techniques. So the end result is a half pixel shaded, half tool shaded dress with oddly shaded hair. Lol! Turned out nicely though, so I'm not going to complain.

Happy July everyone! :D My 19th birthday is this month on the 31st! Whooohooo!! I've recieved a new award for a DHF Base Edit contest I entered awhile back. I got first place, yay! New contests will be starting shortly. I am thinking about a mermaid contest, even though many people have done them. Mermaids are just so much fun XD

Reworked my second entry to the steampunk pageant because I wasn't totally happy with it. We had to doll our contestant doing their favorite pastime.

That dress tutorial is finally completely finished and on the site ^-^ Thank you for your patience. There are a few typos in the tutorial but I don't feel like fixing them at this point in time lol. Oh well, gives it character :D

1 new doll with two different versions because I'm not sure which I like better. Haha. Her name is Lela and she is for the dress tutorial I've almost completed. It should be finished today or early tomorrow, but don't get too excited because I'm not that great at making dresses, lol. She's on my own Seven base.

Whew! It took an hour longer than I thought, but the layout is finally on all the pages. I hope everyone likes it because I'm not changing it for awhile, lol. If you see a big flaw somewhere on one of the pages, please let me know ^-^

New layout! This is my second try at it and I like it much more than first try. (If you haven't visited my site in the last couple of days, you missed it, lol) I promise I won't leave this one up as long as the last one, hahaha. I recoded the whole friggin thing, hoping to get it looking normal in as many browsers as I could. So if it looks completely crazy on yours, let me know. I realize different resolutions affect the navigation (which will be to the left, haven't put it up yet) but I can live with that. Tell me what you think! *Points to tagboard which is now on main page* Rest of site should be up within the hour, and for sure by midnight.

I declare today tutorial-making day :D I thought if I forced myself to devote a whole day to them, I might actually get one done.

June 22 (again)
A total of four poses, a bunch of skintones, and a few expressions made so far for the Seven base. I'm pretty happy with this one for once. I haven't dolled on it yet, but I think it shouldn't be hard to work with.. knock on wood. Anywho, one new doll! *gasp* Another of Naia Loire for the second round of that Steampunk pageant I entered. The first round is in public vote right now if you wanted to stop on by and vote for your favorite *wink wink, nudge nudge* She looks more like a pirate than steampunk. I blame it on the treasure chest, it looks kind of silly, but I needed a prop XP I've been pretty stuck when it comes to dolling lately. In more ways than one. I can't think of a good theme for a contest, cant seem to doll, I've restarted that dang mermaid tutorial about 3 dozen times, have no idea what the new layout will be, oh the list goes on. Lol!

Remade the face for the new Seven base. I think I'm satisfied with it now ^-^ It's unique compared to my other bases, so if you don't like it, you can steal a head from Blue or Mai or something XP Today is base making day! lol I've got too many base sets and not enough poses, so that's what I'm going to be working on.
